Ask yourself this question..

Updated: Feb 1, 2019

In today’s world, with social media.. people tend to compare themselves to others constantly . Or alreast to what others choose to share. Which for a lot of people ignites this rush to compete, and gain status without a process. You see a person that you went to high school with just purchase a new Mercedes . And you may sit and think how and what are they doing to get that? Now you’re distracted from your own journey and situation. Furthermore, now you are distracted from planning for your own goals. Whether it’s a car, a house, to own a business, paying off a student loan..whatever it may be. If you constantly look, analyze and envy others what time do you have to research, plan and invest in yourself?

some people may can manage to save 50% of their income, but they also may not have as many responsibilities. And that’s not your issue, that’s not your business. If you can only manage to save $20 a check. That’s your business. And once you master that cool.. then after that it’s your business to set a new goal when something changes. Whether it’s a new job, a raise .. one less bill. Focus on you and yours. Consider your own progress and no one else’s. But know that it is a process. It takes consistency.

Take a minute.. no seriously one minute to think of this question?

How often do you think of yourself, your goal/dream and personal plan to accomplish that?

and if the time you spend on that.. if any...is less than how much time you spend on IG, Twitter and/or FB there is problem.

And that may be why you struggle to focus on your finances, to get ahead and stay there.
